Happy New Year 2025!

I hope you had a wonderful celebration, and I wish you a peaceful, healthy, and joyful year ahead!

I’ve been following for quite some time now Alex Christoforou, a geopolitical analyst from Nicosia, Cyprus.

What I like, besides the professionalism, is the way he handles a topic like “realpolitik,” which is difficult to address without showing disgust in this period.
The Latins used to say “ridendo castigat mores,” with a smile, behaviours are punished, and Alex uses his irony to comment on the madness of double standards and the incongruent behaviours of the politicians who govern us.
Every day you can walk with him in Nicosia for thirty minutes and chew on geopolitics to gain a deeper understanding of what is happening.

Every day, the main events are selected by the news outlets, and then there is an analysis of the behaviours of the “powerful,” who are part of the “Clown World.”

As we’re kicking off 2025, Alex gives us its third annual Clown World of the Year Awards for 2024!

“It was a tough year to narrow down the nominees—the list of contenders was extensive, and the competition fierce.

However, I’ve selected what I believe are the top five Clown Worlds of 2024, and it’s an epic list. So, let’s jump right in!

Here’s how it will unfold:

  1. Honourable Mentions: I’ve got eight notable mentions to highlight.
  2. Up-and-Coming Clowns: Four newcomers to watch in 2025, who might even take the crown next year.
  3. People’s Choice Awards: We’ll share the top five picks from the poll on Durant.locals.com.
  4. Main Event: The long-awaited Top Five Clown Worlds of 2024!

Finally, we’ll close the show with a new category—the Clown World Moment of 2024. Let me tell you, it’s truly spectacular. This moment might just be the greatest in clown world history.”

So, let’s get started with the honourable mentions.
